The safety features of the new SEAT Exeo make it one of the safest cars on the market for you and your passengers. Most of our cutting-edge occupant protection measures are standard across all three versions, and mesh with each other like a fine-tuned clockwork. Read on for an introduction to the most advanced active and passive safety technology in the world.
The new SEAT Exeo: A step ahead in your behalf.
ESP, ABS And EBA
Starting with our active safety measures, the ESP (Electronic Stability Programme) monitors information from the steering wheel, tyres, brakes and accelerator, making adjustments where necessary to keep you in the perfect arc. Meanwhile, the ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) keeps your wheels from skidding or over accelerating, no matter the road conditions. Plus our Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) detects ‘panic stops’ and reacts by applying maximum braking effort within milliseconds – shortening the stopping distance and reducing the likelihood of accidents. The whole package comes standard across all versions. Isn’t that good to know?
Airbags
The new SEAT Exeo is equipped with an entire 6 airbags as a standard across all versions, protecting the driver and his front passenger: 2 front airbags that deploy in two stages depending on the severity of the collision, 2 front side airbags and 2 curtain-type head airbags. Actually, make that 7. You may want to check your local offers for a driver knee airbag. Specify optional rear side or Thorax airbags for full protection in the back seats, too.
Additional Features
Additional standard safety features include front headrests with WOKS system, reducing the likelihood of whiplash injuries, and driver seatbelt warning as well as ISOFIX anchorage and Top Tether straps for secure child seat mounting. Plus low tyre pressure warning, standard for the Style and Sport versions.
